PLEASE NOTE I AM CURRENTLY ON MATERNITY LEAVE AND WILL BE RE-COMMENCING THERAPY SESSIONS FROM JUNE 2024
with Dr Amy Smith
I'm Dr Amy Smith, a fully qualified Counselling Psychologist with over 15 years experience of offering therapy. I have extensive experience providing short to long term evidence-based counselling and psychological therapy to individuals with a range of emotional struggles. I am an integrative therapist where I can draw upon a range of therapy models such as, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Schema Focused Therapy (SFT), tailoring therapy to you.
Please contact me via email (Contact@HertsTherapyPractice.com) or complete the webform below and we can arrange to have a brief free telephone conversation for me to hear a little about what you are experiencing and I can tell you more about the therapy I offer. We can then schedule the initial session. It is usually helpful to have therapy on a weekly basis on the same day and time until you are ready to come to an end. However, if you require a more flexible therapy slot please let me know and I can try to accommodate this. I am able to see you on a self funded basis or under private insurance cover if you have this. I can offer in-person sessions in St Albans/Hertfordshire and also on an online basis i.e. via video link.
