About Me
I’m an integrative therapist, meaning I have training and experience of a range of therapy models and draw upon these in my therapeutic work. The models I draw upon for any individual is determined by the evidence base, my clinical intuition and any preference you may have. I am trained to high levels in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Schema Focused Therapy (SFT).
I am Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) accredited and registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS). I adhere to the high clinical and ethical standards set out by these professional bodies.
Qualifications
I gained a First Class BSc Undergraduate Degree in Psychology at the reputable University of Nottingham. I completed a Certificate in Low Intensity Psychological Therapies at Anglian Ruskin University. Following this I completed a Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders at Oxford University. My Counselling Psychology Doctorate was undertaken at London Metropolitan University. Since pursuing a career in psychology I have continued to regularly attend CPD events to further build upon my clinical knowledge and skills.
